Cardboard boxes have to withstand heavy strain when they are carried. tesa offers adhesive tapes to reinforce and optimize cardboard packaging, for sturdy, dependable packaging solutions.

The extensive tesa product range, comprising five different reinforcing tapes, offers a solution for any package design. For example, the highly tear-resistant tesa® 50100 Cut Stop has a special backing, scored lengthwise, that prevents further tearing, for example after die cutting.

tesa® 50050 High Load is a very thin and yet extremely tear-resistant adhesive tape for especially heavy loads. The filament tapes tesa® 50090 Classic (reinforced with stable fiberglass) and tesa® 50060 Flexible (with flexible PET fibers) are also impressive for their tear-resistance. And the smooth, soft-touch tesa® 50020 Basic is available in two colors – orange and transparent.

All of these tapes are easy to integrate into the corrugated cardboard production process and can be handled securely at very high speeds.
