New: tesa® Easy Protect Premium 4392 and tesa® Easy Protect Standard 4394 masking films

Professional car body painters are making increasing demands on masking solutions. The decisive selection criteria are precision and time-saving in masking, along with optimal protection and easy handling. To meet these demands, tesa has now expanded its comprehensive range for spray painting jobs with two new masking films.

tesa® Easy Protect Premium

tesa® Easy Protect Premium 4392 excels on demanding paint jobs in particular. Thanks to its anti-spotting technology, the film can even be used on car body surfaces with slight residual moisture without causing spots on the paint after drying. This saves time, as both intensive drying of the paint prior to masking and wiping of spots after oven or infrared drying with subsequent polishing are no longer necessary.

tesa® Easy Protect Premium film has especially good tear resistance and can be used at temperatures of up to 115 °C. This makes the film ideal for infrared as well as for oven drying.


tesa® Easy Protect Premium can be applied easily by one person and adheres securely to the paint surface due to its electrostatic charge. A measuring scale printed on the film web makes the product unique in the market place and represents a distinct product advantage. The scale, with marks are positioned at 50cm intervals, makes unwinding the film to the correct length easier, while at the same time saving material.

For all current requirements in car body spray painting tesa® Easy Protect Standard 4394 offers very reliable protection. The tear-resistant masking film can be used for oven and infrared drying up to 110 °C and is electrostatically charged for easy application. tesa® Easy Protect Standard’s new measuring scale also facilitates measuring the correct length of film.

For the two new members of the tesa® Easy range tesa offers a special dispenser equipped with handle and rollers. It can be moved easily, is absolutely secure against tipping and its closed construction protects the film from dust and dirt. Needless to say, the two tesa® Easy Protect products can also be used with all other common dispensers.
