Solutions for any requirements

For every standard application, tesa offers efficient masking and protection solutions that meet the standard requirements that apply to automotive paint and lacquer work. Specializing in particularly challenging tasks is our tesa® 4308 Blue Masking Tape, which adheres dependably even on plastics. This blue tape helps users to achieve very precise, clean painted edges. It is also suitable for infrared and oven curing at up to 110° C.

The premium painting and lacquering tape tesa® 4309, which is suitable for oven curing at up to 120° C, offers particularly high flexibility, for very good adhesion to curves, and especially strong hold.

The painting and lacquering tapes tesa® 4317 Refinish Tape 80 and tesa® 4329 Refinish Tape 70 are the right choice for spray applications of paint and lacquer. They adhere securely to all the usual subsurfaces and are distinguished by their high resistance to wet grinding. In keeping with their names, these tapes are heat-resistant up to 80° C or 70° C, respectively.

tesa® Precision Mask is perfectly suited to all painting and lacquering work that calls for particularly sharp, smooth edging. Its extremely thin backing material prevents paint seepage and bleed-through. The highly crepe-textured tesa® 4319, by contrast, is especially good for adhesion on tight curves and for subsurfaces. It is extremely elastic, pliant, and tear-resistant and adheres even to extremely difficult surfaces.
