Voluntary assumption of responsibility: a tesa tradition
From tesa’s origins as a division of Beiersdorf to its current status, since April 1, 2001, as an independent corporation within the Beiersdorf group of companies, responsible conduct has always been one of the traditional linchpins of the tesa philosophy.
We take our responsibility to our employees and society just as seriously as maintaining a healthy environment to leave to future generations.
Our support for social projects all around the globe, and the various awards we have won, such as the B.A.U.M. Environmental Award and the Responsible Care Award from the Verband der Chemischen Industrie (VCI, the German chemicals industry association), show that our voluntary assumption of responsibility for actively becoming involved on behalf of society and the environment is one of tesa’s guiding principles. Another step that demonstrates this commitment is our official accession to the United Nations Global Compact.
