tesa Easy Cover® Professional Range
Improved product characteristics and two new products
It isn’t always easy to perform painting, plastering or spraying work both accurately and efficiently. Being able to mask large areas quickly, securely and precisely in one go is a great help and this is exactly what tesa has designed the tesa Easy Cover® Family to do. The combination of painter’s tape and masking paper or film drop cloth can be used to protect doors, windows, floors, wall units or surfaces swiftly and securely in a single step. Now tesa has extended the multi-purpose Easy Cover® Professional range with new products, improved characteristics and redesigned packaging.
Two new outdoor masking solution are accomplishing the tesa Easy Cover® assortment
Wider adhesive surfaces for easier application
Alongside the proven tesa Easy Cover® solutions with paper and film masking for interiors and the two UV-resistant films for outside use, two new outdoor masking solutions complete the range.
tesa Easy Cover® 4373 UV Extra Strong is equipped with a particularly thick (30µm), tear-resistant LDPE film (low density polyethylene) that withstands even extreme wind and weather conditions and is folded for quick, easy use. The clever 2-in-1 solution is fixed in place with the integrated 19mm-wide tesa® 4370, a UV-resistant cloth tape with a strong bond offering a good hold on uneven surfaces for up to 8 weeks. At the same time, the tape can be removed quickly and easily, above all without leaving residues.
The second new family member is the tesa Easy Cover® 4372 UV Paper Mask which covers large areas with a light, weather-proof film. The masking system is attached with the new tesa Easy Cover® 4437 UV Masking Paper or Drop Cloth. The UV and damp-resistant tape will give a reliable hold on almost all materials for up to 6 weeks. The blue tape is especially suitable for sharp paint edges on sensitive or smooth surfaces and even slight curves in exterior use.
Wider adhesive surfaces for easier application
With the extension of the range come changes to all the products in the tesa Easy Cover® family, which will now be furnished with an almost 30% greater bonding surface of altogether 19mm. This makes working with the tape even easier and means fast, precise masking.
New labeling for greater clarity
The new labels, with their large pictograms, offer greater clarity and quick help when choosing the right tesa Easy Cover® solution. One glance is enough to register the main characteristics of each solution. Colour coding like red for Indoor and blue for Outdoor makes areas of use immediately obvious. Recommended periods of use, and the length and width of film or paper can also be clearly made out.
For the launch of the new tesa Easy Cover® range, tesa is supporting the trade with numerous accompanying measures: a sales flyer with details of all the new features; eye-catching stickers on the packaging highlight the new wider 19mm adhesive surface.
With the restructuring of tesa Easy Cover® solutions, tesa has extended the masking system to a full range for all jobs, indoors and outdoors. The product group of large-area masking and protection is a niche segment with over-proportional growth: rising demand for special applications in the field of painting and varnishing means good long-term development prospects for these products.
